10 Years of Family Fostering Partners: 10 Challenges for Tŷ Hafan
In 2025, we’re proud to be celebrating a huge milestone – 10 incredible years of Family Fostering Partners. Over the past decade, we’ve worked alongside dedicated foster parents across the West of England and Wales. By supporting and training our fantastic foster parents, in turn, they are able to nurture and support children and young people who need the stability and support our foster parents offer so selflessly.
To honour this milestone, we’ve launched a fundraising campaign that’s close to our hearts – the #FFP10for10 challenge, raising vital funds for Tŷ Hafan, a children’s hospice that offer care for children with life-limiting conditions and support for their families.
One Decade, Ten Challenges
We wanted our 10-year anniversary to reflect the energy, commitment, and heart that foster care requires – and what better way than with ten meaningful challenges, each one representing a year of our journey.
Our team, their families and our fostering families are getting involved in a whole range of challenges to raise money for Tŷ Hafan. Expect everything from:
- Skydives and cold water plunges
- 10k charity runs and long-distance cycle rides
- Tech-free hours and sponsored silences
- Muddy obstacle courses
- Charity shop takeovers
… and more!
These activities not only help raise money for Ty Hafan, they also raise awareness about the importance of fostering and the need for more foster parents!
Why Tŷ Hafan?
Tŷ Hafan is a vital lifeline for families facing unimaginable challenges. However, they’re currently only able to reach 1 in 10 families who need their services.
