The Fostering Spot Official Open Day – Family Fostering Partners Thanks Hereford and Local Community
Yesterday, we officially launched ‘The Fostering Spot’ – our brand-new fostering information centre in Hereford! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us—we loved meeting so many wonderful people who are as passionate about fostering in Hereford and strengthening community connections as we are. The support from our local community has been truly heartwarming, and we’d like to take a moment to express our thanks to everyone that attended.
What is The Fostering Spot?
Located at 22 King Street, Hereford, The Fostering Spot is a dedicated space for anyone interested in fostering in Hereford to drop in for a friendly, no obligation chat. Whether you’re just exploring the idea of fostering or are ready to take the next step, our team is here to provide guidance, answer questions, and share information about the fostering journey. We created this space to offer a welcoming, face-to-face environment where people can connect and learn about fostering, in turn building a stronger fostering community and providing more safe and loving homes for children requiring fostering in Hereford.
A Look Back at Our Open Day
Our open day was a fantastic opportunity to introduce ourselves and The Fostering Spot to the community, and we were thrilled to welcome so many visitors. Attendees got to meet our friendly team and learn more about fostering in Hereford, who we are and the support and training we provide. But the event was about more than just learning about fostering in Hereford—it was about bringing our community together.
One of the highlights of the day was our ‘Hopes for Hereford’ wishing tree, where guests contributed their ideas for the future of our local community. These messages of hope and inspiration will be presented to our local MP, reflecting the collective vision for a stronger, more connected Hereford.
We were also incredibly lucky to be joined by The Mayor of Hereford, Kevin Tillett, as well as representatives from Andrew Morris Estate Agents, Lov Leaf, and Philip Morris & Sons. Their presence and continued support helped make the day even more special!
