We are an Independent Fostering Agency who have operated since 2015. As a family owned and managed agency, we have a focus on offering high quality care to our foster parents and young people and a supportive working environment for our staff. We are in the process of relocating our growing service from our current base at Leominster to a new base in Hereford town center and are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team in Hereford as our Office Administrator. The new office has free parking which you will be able to utilize on your working days.

Job Type: | Part time, 23 hours per week over three days a week. Days to be agreed but taking into account business needs. |
Salary: | From £23,500 to £25,500 pro rata (depending on experience) |

Job Description and Person Specification for Office Administrator
As the Office Administrator you will be responsible for providing professional, comprehensive and flexible administrative support to our growing team of Link Worker and Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing a reception and hospitality service
- Day to day general administrative tasks
- Supporting Managers and Link Workers with administrative tasks
- Dealing with telephone enquiries and post
- Processing checks and paperwork
- Producing documents to a deadline
- Proactively ensuring the office environment has adequate supplies and is well maintained
- Using our database systems to input and update information and ensuring compliance with auditing, processing and renewing relevant checks
- Producing relevant statistical information when required
- Providing administrative support to Foster Panel in England
- Completing minutes for Foster Panel in England.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required
- High professional standards and an ability to adhere to GDPR and confidentiality policies.
- Excellent administrative skills, and an ability to deal sensitively and professionally with both internal and external customers.
- Previous administrative work experience in an office environment.
- Previous experience of minute taking.
- Experience of utilising a range of IT programmes and maintaining database systems.
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word & Excel.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
- Ability to work with a degree of autonomy, in a flexible and creative manner, whilst observing policies and procedures.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to assimilate new technology and systems quickly.
- Attention to detail and the ability to complete work accurately and to deadlines.
- Willingness to contribute to effective supervision.
