Discussing Fostering at the Frampton County Fair
We recently had the privilege of attending the Frampton Country Fair, an annual event held across 30 acres of scenic parkland at the Frampton Court Estate. From the Countryside Ring and dog shows to children’s entertainment, there was plenty to see and do!
As always, we enjoyed chatting with visitors about the importance of fostering in Gloucestershire and detailing the process of becoming a foster parent. For those who follow our social media accounts or regularly read our blogs, you’ll know that we attend various local events throughout the year. Our aim is to raise public awareness about the need for more families and individuals to consider fostering.
The Frampton Country Fair was the perfect opportunity to connect with people and answer questions about what fostering in Gloucestershire with Family Fostering Partners entails. We look forward to welcoming new foster families inspired by the conversations we had at the fair!

As previously mentioned, our goal for the Frampton County Show was the same as with every event we attend: to raise awareness of the need for more people to consider becoming foster parents. Currently, across England, there is a significant need for more fostering families. Therefore, attending events like the Frampton Show is vitally important for us to help increase the number of foster homes in the country.

We work closely with local authorities to ensure that children who need fostering in Gloucestershire are placed with families that can provide safe, nurturing, and stable environments.
Many fairgoers approached our stand, intrigued by the idea of fostering but unsure where to begin. One of the most common questions we were asked was, “Why should we choose Family Fostering Partners?” The answer lies in our deep-rooted commitment not only to the children in our care but also to the foster families we work with. We offer extensive training, ongoing support, and personalised guidance throughout your fostering journey. We believe fostering is a collaborative effort, working in unison with children at the heart of everything we do.
In addition, our local expertise gives us a unique understanding of the specific challenges and needs of fostering in this region. Whether it’s navigating the complexities of matching children with the right families or providing emotional support during difficult transitions, we take pride in walking the journey with our foster families every step of the way.
